My code, your freedom (and your obligations)

I have decided to release this mod and its documentation under the GNU Affero General Public License v3 (AGPLv3).

Here is what it means in simple terms if you want to use my work:

• Mandatory Attribution: You can copy and distribute the code, but you must always keep my copyright notices intact. You must credit me as the original author, or authors in case of collaboration.
• Freedom to Modify: You can modify the software for your own purposes. However, if you publish a modified version (even just on a server), you must clearly indicate what you changed and on what date.
• Open Source: If you make your modified version available over a network (for example, on a game server or web app), you must allow your users to download the complete source code.
• Same License: Any derivative work must be released under this same license (AGPLv3). You cannot make “closed” or “private” what was born free.

In summary: Have fun, feel free to modify, but don’t pretend you made it and don’t close the code to others.
